new year, new me

I can't believe that 2014 is over!

I hope all of you had an amazing Christmas and have a happy new year :)

I'm not usually into having a new year resolution or changing for a new year but as last year wasn't my best year I want 2015 to be amazing, so I've decided to set aims for the year.

1~ to get better at blogging.

I love blogging, its fun and I get to talk about things I love.

but recently I've been loosing readers so I want to gain more and hopefully my blog will grow.

I want to start uploading on a regular basis, so im thinking 3 days a week. I had set out on a new blog everyday but that didn't really go to plan.

2~ to be happy :)

 I love it when other people are happy and I try so hard to make others happy but when it comes down to me I don't care as much but this year will be different, I want to be really happy and love life.

3~ to get healthier.

I don't really care about loosing weight, but I just want to get healthier, so I want to eat healthier and do more exercise.

cute stocking fillers

today I'm going to share with you some cute stocking filler ideas.

the first idea is lip balm. I love lip balms and my favourite ones are the eos ones, I would recommend these to anyone especially if you have dry lips. these are so moisturising, they make you lips so soft.
                                             
these are in (left) summer fruits and (right) strawberry sorbet.

                                          

another item is of course a tangle teezer .I love these so much; they get anything out of your hair and don't damage your hair,I find that some brushes can cause breakages in your hair.

                                      
you can get them from boots.

of course my last idea is a candle, these are the Yankee candle ones. these are the small testery ones because the full size ones are rather expensive but they are still amazing. i got loads from friends this year so thank you.
                                         
this one is in soft cotton, I haven't started burning this one but I cant wait until I start to burn it.

Christmas wish list

hi everyone !

today I'm going to share with you what I would like for Christmas, this might help you with ideas for family or friends if your still thinking of what to get them.

1~ fist of all of course its a naked palette I really want one of these mainly the first one but the basics are really nice as well.

2~ mainly any make up. if you know me, you will know make up is my passion and I love it so much so for me any make up would be amazing

3~ lush things, again if you know me you will know I adore lush things as lush is my favourite store, I love all lush things. you can check out my favourite lush products here. bearing in mind its a really old blog post. but I will do an updated one soon.

4~ clothes. as well I'm a huge fashion lover, most blogs I read are fashion ones and my favourite blog posts to do are OOTD'S so if I got lovely clothes for Christmas I would be so happy.

5~ but mainly I would love something sentimental, I love gifts that people have thought about and took some time on, like a sweet note or a picture. its the thought that counts.

christmas decor ideas

as its getting further into Christmas more people are putting Christmas decorations up and getting into the Christmas spirit, so today I thought I would share with you my Christmas decorations for my room.
bearing in mind I have a really small room so I cant go to over the top but I still like to make an effort as I love this time of the year.

first of all of course its going to be a Christmas tree.

mines from next and I honestly cant remember how much it was because I got it last year.

it its pre decorated with fake snow, little cute acorns and little berry's on.

I absolutely love this Christmas tree because its so cute, small but also very christmasy.

I place my instant camera beside it with little buttons and a little picture frame with a message my best friend gave me for my birthday.

next its candles. I burn candles all year round but mainly in the autumn and winter because you can get amazing scented candles at this time of the year.

I love to use the Yankee candles mainly the little tester ones because you can put these in a cute candle holder like this.

  

again this is from next and was around £5 but I'm not too sure as I got it a long time ago.

in front of it I have a cute pebble with the word happy painted in it, I got this from a small shop on the barbican so I don't know the shop name or how much it was.

I don't have a candle in here at the moment as I just finished burning it.

and the best is fairy lights.

these are from sainsburys and again I don't remember how much because i got them a while ago i have these up all year but i love to put them on at this time of the year because they are so festive, they're just a cream love heart shape with little stars on them and as well they are battery operated.

motivational Monday

                               
Its a bit late to welcome December but I really want to do this post.
so this is the last month of 2014 and personally the best time of the year, everyone's happy and felling great.
soon it will be new year and everyone will be making new year resolutions, personally I don't have any new year resolutions because I'm one of those people who take a day at a time, but i really want to make next year the best year : i want to get better at blogging and get more readers, get healthier and be a better person.
But i find that to have a better next year, you need to have a good end of the year.
its the last chapter of 2014 so make it the best.
this is the time for you to complete all of the things you wanted to do in 2014 and make this month your best month and hopefully make your year complete.

   i cant believe its now December! 

Aside from Christmas, my favourite things of this time of the year is the fashion and beauty.

Today I'm going to share my favourite beauty things for this time of the year.

I'm going to talk about different items every couple of days.

first I will start with lipsticks.

I love wearing lipsticks all year round, but mainly in the winter and autumn because you can get away with wearing a dark berry lipstick, I think that most if not all skin tones can get away with a dark lipstick.

this lipstick is a Rimmel London colour rush in "220 rumour has it" this is a dark pinkish colour which is glossy and very moisturising. when I wear this lipstick I take it with me when I go out, because its glossy it doesn't stay on for a long time.

review: lipstick

hi everyone !

so today im going to talk about a lipstick that i have briefly spoke about in a haul 

 It's a Rimmel London moisture renew lipstick in 500 diva red 

                                            

                                               I love the packaging because it's sleek and girly. 

                                        

  The colour looks more berry than red, but on the lips it Looks more red and its really shiny and glossy which honestly I don't really like in a lipstick but I love this one, I find that most dark lipsticks can be a bit drying but because this one Is moisture renew it isn't drying at all, and of you have cracked lips it doesn't show. Aswell because it has blue undertones it makes your teeth look whiter.

motivational monday

hi eveyone !

lets start this week on a high
                               
                                 

its quite easy, i find, to be pulled down by the bad and the evil in the world  or by our personal problems, it can feel like there's a massive weight on your shoulders and that the feel is never going to go away.

 if one month has been particularly hard, you can sort of draw a line under it and start afresh in the new one. 

my October was busy and stressful but when i look back i realise that it wasn't all stress and i love months or weeks like that because when you look back the good moments really stand out and it makes me feel good.

and i feel like i had the good moments because i drew a line under the bad ones and tried to forget about them, it might be hard but you just have to try to forget.

just remember that if something bad has happened on one day then you can have a fresh start the next day even if you feel like that day will never come.

OOTD : boyfriend coat

Sorry I haven't been active recently I have been really busy.

Today Im going to show you an outfit that I have been loving recently.

                                 

                                    Boyfriend coat~new look (can't remember the price) 

                                      Top~topshop (again can't remember the price) 

                                             Normal black leggings from new look 

 I love this outfit because it's great for autumn and you can wear short sleave tops because the coat is really nice and thick, I love this because the coat adds more colour to my wordrobe and most of my clothes are dull .you can also wear a nice berry lip because of the colour of the coat. 

This outfit is great for the cold days where it's still sunny and you don't have to put lots of layers on.

You can also wear any accessories with this outfit because it's plain but fashionable. 

                                  

                              I like to wear this plain coin necklace that my Aunty gave me.

Hair care

Hi everyone !

So today I'm going to talk about and go through my hair care.

First of all its shampoo and conditioner 

I like to use the loreal thickening shampoo and conditioner. I have seen a massive difference in my hair and I can feel it too it also looks a lot healthier.it doesn't really have a sent which I love into have in a shampoo and conditioner. I have also seen that sometimes my hair can go a bit frizzy so I do try to use a de frizzer.

But by using a tangle teezer I have noticed that helps the frizz.

I absoloulty love this brush and it helps reduce split ends.

I would recommend it to anyone especially If you have damaged hair.

If my hair gets greasy during washes I will use a dry shampoo, at the moment I'm using batiste 

I don't really like this because It leaves a white residue but it does it its jobs and it smells really nice.

I really want to use Ruth Crillys new dry shampoo because I have heard really good things about it , so if you've tried it let me know what you think.

Pallets

So today I thought I would share with you some of my favourite pallets wether that will be eyes or face (blush and contouring).

There is a mix of colours and shades so they will suit everyone.

                                          The first one is a sleek one in 'the original 594'

                                    

                                     

                                     

It has a total of 12 shades, 11 shimmery ones and 1 matte one which is the black one.

I love this pallet because you can use it all year and although their shimmery you can blend them out and it makes them look less shiny.

               The next one is an Avon one in 'simply nude' this is a quad so I have 4 colours

                                        

 

                                       

                                       

I love this one because you can use it to create a smokey eye or just a simple one their all matte, but number 3 is a tiny bit shimmery.

                                

                           This is another sleek one but this is the 'face form kit in light 373'

                                       

                                       

In this pallet you get a really matte brownzer which is good for contouring a highlight and a blush I'm not sure on the blush name because it doesn't say so if anyone does know please put it in the comments.

This pallet gives a really nice natural colour to your face.

feeling better

hi everyone !

so recently I have been feeling a bit poopy so I thought I would share with you how I made myself feel better.


1~ surround yourself with people who make you happy and love you weather this is family or friends
      laughter is the best medicine.

2~watch your favourite movie, personally Disney are the best, the old classics and the recent ones
    or watch your favourite TV show or youtubers.

3~have a pamper evening! this is probably the best way to feel better, I've done a blog post on cosy     nights in so if you want me to do one of a pamper evening let me know

4~ have a great night sleep, I always feel so refreshed and better after I have a great night sleep.

5~ if you have a good luck charm or anything lucky carry it around with you! it sounds weird but it may help.

if you are going through a bad time it will be okay whatever it is.

Mini haul

So recentl I went into town and bought a few things so I thought I would share the make up things I got with you 

                                         The first thing Is a Rimmel lipstick In '500 diva red' 

                                     

                                     

                                                                                                                                                                       

                          I haven't really used this product much but the few times I have used it 

                                                        It's been a really nice soft lipstick 

                                                                And nourishes my lips 

                            The next product is a maybelline colour tattoo in 'on and on bronze'

                                    

                                     

                                      

                          I've wanted one of these for a long time so I thought I should get one

                      They last a really Long time and their amazing on their own or as a base 

                

                             I also bought a new concealer .This is the Rimmel wake me up 

                                    

                     I like this concealer ,However it's a bit of light coverage concealer , but it is good 

                                                    The last thing is a mascara 

                                   

               

                                    This mascara is really nice because it give volume and length 

                                         However it is a clumpy mascara and doesn't really give 

                                                                       Separation

Northern lights bath bomb review

Today I thought I would write another review about the Northern lights bath bomb from lush ( What a surprise haha) 

                

                                                     This is what the bath bomb look like

                                        It smells quite musky but I can't describe smells at all so... 

           It's quite a cheapest price but I can't remember how much it was I think it was about £3-4 

 When you put it in the bath it starts to fizz and admittedly it looks like a colourful poo but it's amazing haha 

It has little stars in and just like every other lush products their amazingly moisturising 

I hope this has made you want to buy some lush products I certainly will be going back

I feel like perfection is taking over the teenage generation because of the "perfect" image. just remember that no one is perfect not even Beyoncé ! everyone gets spots everyone gets insecure and everyone gets insecure about different things.
even the "perfect" people are fake. models get edited and even normal people in the papers and magazines get edited.
there are so many different opinions on perfect and your all perfect in your own way even on poopy days where you don't wear make up and you just want to lay in bed eat junk food your still perfect in your way! even if you don't feel like you are there's someone out there who thinks you are weather that will be your family , a fiend or a stranger walking past you thinking you look perfect.

DIY blackhead remover

We all get those annoying blackheads some small some big but still black heads 

I found this cool easy blackhead remover the other month and at first I didn't think it would work but when I tried it it really did work so I thought I'd share it with you 

What you need : 

-a little pot

-some lemon juice

-baking soda 

-a spoon

Pour the lemon juice into the pot 

Then add the baking soda 

It will start to fizz and It should look something like this 

 Keep adding more lemon juice and baking soda until it looks something like this 

Now apply it to the areas where you need it for me it is my nose and my chin but more on my nose 

I like to smooth it out and pat it on 

To take it off I like to get a muslin clothes and rub it off 

I find this DIY really good and easy it works really well
